Our expertise
DESIGN-BUILD
We work with the owner to perform both design and construction functions. This allows for collaboration between the design and development teams, making the process seamless for the owner and resulting in significant time and financial savings.
FAST TRACK
Fast tracking allows us to begin some phases of construction before the design is finalized. Projects are built in packages, allowing design and construction to happen simultaneously.
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We can act as a consultant and represent the owner in managing design and construction in a complex project. This arrangement allows for good value engineering because of the early involvement of a knowable construction partner.

Gary Custer
Biography
Gary is a Registered Professional Engineer with over 40 years of experience in the construction field. He is a licensed general contractor in 14 states, including Florida, Georgia and California. He has worked for large multi-unit national companies as head of construction, design and permitting departments building hundreds of projects throughout the country.

Andy Wilson
Biography
Andy Wilson brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry to Lantern Construction LLC. He has held a variety of positions over the years, filling the roles of project manager, lead superintendent, and business owner and partner. He has supervised and managed the ground-up construction of various multi-level hotels and restaurants throughout the southeastern United States. Some of those hotels and restaurants include, Johnny Carino’s, Golden Corral, Longhorn Steakhouse, Marriott Hotel, Comfort Suites, and Red Roof Inn. Andy prides himself on bringing projects to completion ahead of schedule and within budget.
Currently he resides near Destin, Florida, where he has most recently facilitated the construction of various commercial retail stores and restaurants, including Orange Theory, 30A Trading Post, and Yuga Sushi, just to name a few. Andy, and his wife Lynn, have four children, two grandchildren, and another grandchild on the way.

Caleb Custer
Biography
Caleb has spent the last 15 years in business development and strategy, helping businesses grow to reach their full potential. He has a BBA in Business from Campbell University and a masters degree from Florida State University. He is a Managing Partner at White Tree Group, specializing in residential real estate development. Consulting clients include S’well Bottle, American Museum of Natural History and Easy Spirit. He is a Visiting Assistant Professor at The Pratt Institute, Design Management program in New York.

Drew Wilson
Biography
Drew Wilson has earned a bachelor’s degree in Project Management from Northwest Florida State College and has spent the last 3 years managing multimillion-dollar Acquisition Programs for the Department of Defense. His areas of expertise include contract initiation, acquisition planning and execution, fiscal strategy, and other varying project management processes. He and his wife are starting their family in the sunshine state, near Niceville, Florida.
